AWARD OUTSTANDING UNDERGRADUATE, MASTER'S, OR DOCTORAL THESIS PAPERS RELATED TO ANY OF CATE'S TOPICS
Through the competition, CATE 2024 aims to highlight the valuable work of students and showcase young talents in research in these fields, providing them with an excellent opportunity to present their work at the conference.
Student's competition rules
Participants in the competition must submit a paper or present a poster at the CATE 2024 conference. The submitted work should be based on their undergraduate, master's, or doctoral thesis projects.
The work can be presented by an individual student, a team of students, or a student along with their advisors.
The paper must follow the CATE 2024 paper template and be written in English. Poster presentations at the conference must be conducted in English as well.
The deadline for the reception of entries is the same as for abstracts reception.
Organisation, criteria and awards
Participants will present their work during a poster session at the conference or prepare an oral presentation, depending on the chosen category.
All participants and their institutions will receive a participation certificate upon request.
The jury, composed of members of the CATE 2024 board, will determine two winners: one for the best paper and another for the best poster. The evaluation will be based on scientific merit, poster quality, presentation, and relevance to CATE 2024.
The winners will be announced and awarded during the closing session of the conference.
The winners will have the opportunity to record a presentation of their work, which will be promoted on the conference's websites and social media platforms.
